Robert Brock

Robert joined Kentucky Repertory Theatre (formerly Horse Cave Theatre) in 1998 as an actor before becoming Horse Cave Theatre's Education Director. In 1979, Robert received a Hilberry Fellowship for graduate study at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he subsequently received his MFA in Acting. He participated in the month long Intensive Training with Shakespeare & Company in Bennington, VT. Robert was the director of the very successful Young Performers Productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, A Christmas Carol, Oedipus Rex, The Crucible, Our Town, The Comedy of Errors, and Hamlet. He has worked closely with the Governor's School for the Arts, teaching audition workshops and helping with the selection process.  He is also a part-time instructor at Western Kentucky University, Glasgow Campus.
Robert's acting credits include stints with Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Folger Shakespeare Theatre, The Fulton Opera House and Off-Broadway with the Blue Light Theatre. Favorite roles include: Macbeth, Oberon, Petruchio, Iago, Edgar in King Lear, Alan Turning in Breaking the Code, Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and for Kentucky Repertory Theatre, Cornelius Hackl in The Matchmaker, Bernard Nightingale in Arcadia, Biff in Death of a Salesman, Dracula, Elyot in Private Lives, Abraham Lincoln, Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, Billy Herndon, in One Man's Lincoln, co-starring with Annie Potts in Love Letters and his one-man shows of The Book of Revelation, The Passion of St. John, The Gospel of Mark and Mark Twain.
Robert has directed productions in New York, Lexington, KY, and Washington, D.C. Favorites among them are: The Mayor of Zalamea, A Streetcar Named Desire, Agnes of God, The Tempest, The Winter's Tale and The Diviners. For Kentucky Repertory Theatre Robert directed Camping with Henry and Tom, And A Nightingale Sang, Liz's Circus Story, Romeo and Juliet, Lovers and Executioners, Dracula, Fully Committed, Proof, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Taming of The Shrew, Frankenstein, Shiloh Rules, Steel Magnolias, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, A Christmas Carol, Pygmalion, The Hollow, The Drawer Boy, Amadeus, Abraham Lincoln and King Lear.

Chuck most recently was owner/operator of Keeley's Hallmark in Louisville, Kentucky. For Unisys Corporation, his titles include Manager of Distribution - U.S. Operations, Production Manager, Division Manager of Finance and Plant Manager. From 1975 - 1981 he worked for Burroughs Corporation as Plant Controller, Accounting Supervisor and Financial Analyst. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Economics degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.


Mary Margaret Villines

Mary Margaret Villines has a background in Public Relations and Development for non-profit organizations, including STAGE ONE; The Louisville Children's Theatre and Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Mississippi College and the University of South Alabama for her undergraduate degree and the University of Kentucky for graduate school. She is married to Gerald L. Villines, a native of Henderson, Kentucky. They have one son, James Byron Villines, who is a student at Centre College.
